Dr. Taddie grew up in Ft. Myers, FL and she attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. There, she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in biology and chemistry. She also worked in the neonatal intensive care unit for several years at the Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida prior to attending medical school in Miami, where she received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Taddie moved to Michigan to complete a surgical residency at Oakwood Hospital Medical Center in Dearborn, MI. She maintains a state medical license in both Michigan and Florida and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Her residency director, Dr. Lawrence Fallat, is a very prolific and well respected podiatric physician throughout the country. At Oakwood, Dr. Taddie, was actively involved in multiple research studies and has been published in the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery. She has lectured and presented both locally and nationally and earned recognition. Her training includes acute foot and ankle trauma as well as a heavy emphasis on elective surgery in forefoot, rearfoot, ankle and diabetic reconstruction. Dr. Taddie’s training has included a community outreach medical mission to an orphanage in Guatemala where reconstructive surgery was performed on several orphans and she describes it as one of her most inspiring experiences. Her training was outstanding and has allowed her to become a very talented and exceptional surgeon.
Dr. Taddie’s recreational interests include outdoor activities, such as biking and boating. She also enjoys perfecting her culinary skills for her friends and family.
